Still Walking with Keys Between our Fingers

Works that seek to draw on the fears manifested in medieval folklore woodblock prints to reinterpret contemporary fears of young women in a modern society. The sculptural pieces seek to animate these ghoulish characters to appear as physical beings and make comparisons to the ‘monsters’ faced in everyday life.

The works were exhibited at Winchester School of Art to mark the end of my undergraduate degree. Consisting of two large scale sculptures on moveable bases, a wolf mask and three woodblock carvings.
